I am guitar player and singer-songwriter from Riga, Latvia. I am also Ethnomusicologist (started Ph.D studies recently and doing research on rock music in Latvia) and guitar teacher (my bachelor and master degree is on jazz music guitar teaching). In a past I was working as a light & sound technician. I used to live in Netherlands in a past (Amstelveen, right next to Amsterdam) but I moved back to my home city Riga 2 years ago.

I live together with my beloved wife and 1 year old daughter.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I used to host a lot of people, and surfed some as well... I'm not that active Couchsurfer anymore as in a past since we have a child, besides the place we live is not very big. Anyway - if you would like to surf with me - let me know, we have some space!

Music - from world, jazz, classical, ethno to hardcore punk, all kinds of electronics, heavy metal - in general I like all kinds of musics (but not all musicians, duo)!
Books - Orvel, Camus are my favourite.
Movies - short films, animations, documentaries, movies about artists and all kind of trippy stuff most probably I would enjoy!
