About Me

I love to travel, I love change, and I am very adaptable. I love to learn, my favorite "hobby" is learning new things/activities or meeting new people. My goal is to continue to learn and grow and live through travel for the foreseeable future. My plan is always changing due to new people I meet, new interests, and life circumstances. I am somewhat of a seasoned traveller and I intend to keep seeing more of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason I travel is to learn and grow and see beautiful things and to try new things and to meet new people to teach me new things. I feel the best way to do that is by putting yourself out there with the people who are willing to accept you, and couchsurfing/hostels/wwoofing/etc. Also, I am a budget traveler and prefer to experience life with locals and true culture rather than the secluded, inauthentic, expensive "luxury" travel way. One goal I have is to learn at least one new skill, or recipe, or life lesson etc from everyone I meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music, I am mostly into folk/country right now. I love to read, mostly novels now (anything as long as there’s mystery or romance).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I abandoned my travel plan to work at a pizza cafe in a small town in West Virginia when my car broke down on a mountain in the middle of nowhere. I quickly got a job and an apartment, and spent the rest of my summer there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested in natural health, learning sustainable living and permaculture, but not in a “don’t use straws save the turtles” trendy way, but learning about composting and using ACV to clean my body rather than chemicals.
