About Me

"They say home is where the heart
But my heart is wild and free
So am I homeless or just heartless
Did I start this, did it start me"
Passenger, HOME
(No worries I am not that cheesy, but I really love these lines)

I don't like that the World labels everything and I especially hate if I'm being labeled because
• I study law but I'm not planning on becaming a lawyer
• I'm a huge foody, but don't let me in a kitchen
• I have my driving license for 4 years, but I am not able to park
• I write with my left hand, throw with my right and eat with both
•I love being with others, but I need to be alone sometimes (so am I an extroverted introvert or an introverted extrovert?!)
• even though my full name is Réka Rebeka Rósa, I can't properly pronounce RRR (thanks parents)
• I'm super impatient but peeling pomegranate is one of the best activities I can imagine for a sunday afternoon
•I love to have passionate debates, but I appreciate If someone persuades me.

So all in all, I think at this period in my life, I have to allow myself to change and think differently with everyday.

(Oh and one last thing, I really want to see a happy elephant in the wildlife)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During our travelings my friend persuaded me to use CS so that we can save money. But my fisrt CS experience made me realise it is so much more than that. It made me believe that people are good, people are helpful and people are beautiful creatures, but most improtantly I'm learning to trust people again. Not only did I start to get back my faith in humanity, but I also met amazing people along the way. So I feel like it was a huge 'jumping out from my comfort zone' but I couldn't be happier that I did it.

Music, Movies, and Books

With MUSIC (and in general) I'm very open-minded, love to listen to everything and my taste is changing all the time, but I mostly listen indie music. --> Bastille, Mumford and Sons, The Strumbellas, José González

My favourite writer is Jodi Picoult.
Best film ever: Pretty Woman

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved away for a year to the furthest point from my hometown at 18, and experienced a new culture, lifestyle & and I loved every minute of it.

Riding a bike in Hanoi (one hell of an experience!)

Applying for Law School on a whim, but ended up going there.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although I consider myself a big traveller, ( as much as my age and budget allows me to be) I love Budapest and Hungary, the place where I live, so I would be happy to share about it:)
