ABOUT ME

[EN] My name is Alex and I am a fully qualified Designer with several years professional experience. I can manage many aspects of creativity like teaching, creative consulting, graphics, illustration and design…so I'd rather consider myself as a "deliverer of ideas".

I'm deep in love with furniture design, product design and, most generally, the relation between mankind and domestic landscapes.
I support sustainability, recycling and creative reuse and this is my personal ethical attitude.

Technically, I am polyglot: I can speak 6 languages (4 of them fluently) but basically I just love comparing different cultures, mentalities and habits. This is why I often ask so many questions!
I'm pretty open-minded and love to travel around the world.

I am currently working as design & research at Acierta Product Team in Valencia, Spain. By the way I am experienced in the fields of Creative Consultancy, AD's, Multidisciplinar Design (Product & Visual) and Applications Teaching (2D, 3D & more).

[IT] Mi chiamo Alex e sono un designer qualificato. Mi occupo di vari campi della creativitá, tra cui la docenza, la consulenza creativa, la grafica, l'illustrazione, il design…per cui preferisco considerarmi un "dispensatore di idee".

Sono molto interessato al Design di Prodotto, in particolare all'ambito dell'arredamento e della relazione tra l'ambiente domestico e l'uomo, con un occhio di riguardo ai concetti di sostenibilità, riciclo e riuso creativo.

Tecnicamente sono poliglotta: parlo 6 lingue, di cui 4 perfettamente, e lo dico perchè solo così riesco a spiegare la mia tendenza a paragonare continuamente culture, mentalità e abitudini differenti tra loro.
Ho vedute piuttosto ampie e amo viaggiare per il mondo.

Attualmente lavoro come designer a Valencia.
In Italia ho lavorato come libero professionista proponendomi sotto diversi profili: Consulente Creativo, Art Director, Designer multidisciplinare e Docente di software per la grafica 2D e 3D (ma non solo).

[IT] Offro un letto, un tetto, buona accoglienza, pasti caldi, tante domande curiose e chiacchiere interessate e interessanti su vari argomenti, ma soprattutto cultura, societá, linguistica, paragoni culturali, etnografia, sociologia e antropologia. ;) Troppo pesante? Ma nooo…

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

[EN] I started couchsurfing in Milan during the chaotical Design Week, way back in 2007. My trolley-bag, my Mac and my skateboard to move quickly. That's it!

[IT] Da una vita sono stato ospite a Milano da un mio amico durante la Design Week del Salone del Mobile. Un trolley, il computer, lo skateboard per muovermi veloce e nient'altro!
