ABOUT ME

I love new people and new situations. I believe in passion, I admire those who know have it and those who are trying to find it. I'm an optimist (almost as much as polyanna :P). I am easy-going. I can have fun in any situation and it takes a lot to upset me or stress me out. Oh yeah and I LOVE MOUNTAINS!! they make me smile.

PHILOSOPHY

Just Be. I think one of the hardest things is to live you life and accept everything that you are and everything that happens to you. To "just Be" means to enjoy your life and embrace every experience that life offers.

I also believe that it is essential to have an open mind. There is so much that the world and people have to offer you, you just have to be open to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By sleeping in obscure places (I have developed a fine ability to sleep anywhere :P. Nah, seriously I am a gracious and well mannered guest and love being hospitable. I am also fanastic at doing dishes and I think I have the ability to put a smile on anyones face :)
Once I finally settle back into Melbourne I would love to offer up my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried to couchsurf in Europe during the summer this year. Because it was high season I found that it was really hard to find places to stay because everyone was getting so many requests. I hung out with some couchsurfers in Hungary though and ended up staying with one of them as we managed to fit 3 on his fold out sofa!
I am really looking forward to couchsurfing more in Canada and the USA.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read and read just about anything from classic literature trashy girly books. I am a big fan of autobiographies and childrens books.

As for music there isn't a genre that I could say that I don't appreciate at all. I can dance to just about anything :P. I really enjoy being introduced to new music but appreciate the classics as well.

I am a big fan of cult movies and art house cinema. I love anything that is a little different.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2009 was a crazy year for me travel-wise. I went on a huge loop of Europe including countries such as England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Malta, Switzerland and Spain. Then to Dubai on my way back to Aus. I travelled most of these countries on my own which I found to be an incredibly liberating experience

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to embrace my inner child. I have a passion for working with children. I believe that children have a lot to offer us and we have a lot to learn from them. When you embrace your inner child the world is a beautiful place.
