We are on an indirect flightless journey heading for Europe from Australia, wanting to visit as many places along the way.

ABOUT ME

We are Craig and Rell an English – Australian couple who have been living together in Melbourne since Aug 2006. We met in a sleepy village in the English countryside back in 2003. In early 2004 at the end of Rell’s UK visa, we both returned to Rell’s native Australia. On returning to Australia, we brought a 22-year-old van, we painted her pink and christened her the Bongo Bus. Together we travelled for 18 months around Australia. We followed the coast from Perth across the Top end to Darwin, down the east coast to Brisbane and Sydney then finally along the south coast from Melbourne on to Adelaide.

Since those crazy days, travel has remained extremely important to both of us and of course a regular feature of our lives together. If we were not on a trip we were planning the next one! It was during the early days in Australia that this big world trip was dreamed up. Craig regularly dreamt that they had driven the Bongo Bus all the way back to the UK where a big welcoming party in Trafalgar Square greeted us! Well, the bus died but the dream lives on…. We now find ourselves fulfilling yet another travel dream, an indirect flightless journey towards Europe, taking in as many possible sights and experiences, in as many different countries we can along our journey!!
