ABOUT ME

My job required me to travel quite a bit around the world, which I ended enjoying a lot.
This allowed me to get real buddies abroad as well, especially in Czech Republic.
I am excited after discovering that this website could help me in enlarging this circle with yet other people from foreign countries.

I now live near Paris after two years spent in Brussels as an expat, where I discovered CS as a host.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Long time ago I had a lot of good experiences in Ireland, being hosted in Bed and Breakfast and Hostels. Therefore I love the idea that I could propose the same type of good experience to others... but for free! ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For the time being, my CS experience is a bit limited, I hosted 8 times and surfed once, but I have met only extremely nice people so far. As a host it's a great occasion to meet, cook, drink and share with foreign people I would have never known without CS.

Interessi

Earth, human, watch the sky and breath.
Music (I play guitar in a rock band).
Aviation (I have both plane and glider licences).
One of my hobbies is to launch parties at home, where we can talk and laugh till late. Then my interest in cooking helps.
And of course I love French wine and Irish whisky!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

As a student glider pilot, I flew once alone on board for more than 5 hours, most of the time above 3000 meters above the ground.
This was in the south of France, a place with a large population of vultures, you know those almost 3 meters wide birds...
And I was flying in patrol with them, spinning in the same thermals! Just a fantastic moment.

I have some skills in cooking, but nothing terrific.Otherwise I am expert at raising a glass ;-) And if you wonder how a plane can fly, I think I can really explain how it works, including live demo of basic principles ;)
