Hello Ladies and Gents my name is Summer!

Just know I dont really like talking about myself but if there a question please ask me!Let me answer 2 questions I always get asked: I am half Persian and half Black and yes....my hair is real. Im from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma USA. College student hating college. Not too crazy but not too prude, love learning about people and how they have managed through this thing called...LIFE.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This past summer, a friend and I utilized Couchsurfing to travel through Europe. We traveled to Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Denmark and Sweden for 1 month. What an amazing experience! We met some really truly wonderful people. I still cant believe it happened. WOW WOW. My faith in people is restored although I still have a healthy skepticism. Eventually when I have my career, I want to give back to the Couchsurfing community.

Interests

Honestly Ive been studying so much that I relearning my interests. I watch a crap load of TV. A few of my favorite Netflix shows are House of Cards, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Daredevil. I love binge watching! Getting back into movies again but I can't name favorite for there are too many to name. Totally into podcasts: The Savage Lovecast, Freakonomics, Ted Talks, How did this get made, The Cracked Podcast, stuff you didn't know, Gay Pimpn with Johnny McGovern just to name a few.

I'm getting back into yoga. I could never afford classes but there are TONS of yoga channels on YouTube that are great.

I'm pretty open with music as long as its not county or gospel. I have a whole list of books on my Amazon account that I can't wait to read!! Movies...well it's been a while but I looooved DEADPOOL!!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences as a mixed race person in America. I'm not a great cook but my mom has some great recipes for desserts I could try to make!! I really try to pull my weight when people do me a solid favor. If you cook me food, I will always ALWAYS wash the dishes.
