I am an Istanbul-based director who likes telling weird but funny stories that engages with real life. I studied economics and sociology, started his career as a part-time cartoonist, working for comic magazines. I have been writing stage plays, TV and film scripts since 2005. My short film, The postmodern existence of Hımbılgil (2011) won several domestic and international prizes. I produced my debut feature "The Übermensch Prophecy or The Inevitable Disavowal of Greater Iskender" in 2017.
