CURRENT MISSION

I want to see Europe the way a European sees it. Maybe throw in a bit more partying, tons of sightseeing. I want to have a generally great time with my friends seeing the world.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in suburban Philadelphia and I love it. I've been lucky enough to travel a lot growing up. I like to think I'm relaxed and easy to get along with.

Couchsurfing has been wonderful to me. I travelled the summer of 2009 through Europe couchsurfing wherever I could, including going to the BIG (Barcelona International Gathering) Event. It was a magical summer and I feel that couchsurfing is so much more than just a place to rest your head, it's a new world, a new way to travel, new friends and memories, it allowed me to meet amazing people from all over the world. I can't wait to do it again!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to enjoy it. It may be cliche, but I want to positively effect the world, learn a lot, and be happy. Also, you only live once, do everything you've ever wanted because there's no other time than now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a newbie. I'm traveling through Europe this summer with a friend of mine and hoping to find some cool people who can give us an amazing experience. I want to see everything a city has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I said above, I've couchsurfed in several locatins: Amsterdam, Brugge, Paris, and Barcelona. I can't wait to do so much more though! It's the best way to get an authentic experience of a city.

兴趣

I love sports, music, traveling, just about anything. I like to do all kinds of things and I'm pretty adventurous, couchsurfing just seems like a natural fit. I want to have wild stories at the end of my life, skydiving, cliffjumping, all sorts of outdoor activities but also just spontaneous fun like an impromptu party and things of that sort.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (Junot Diaz) and The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini) are both great. There are so many great books and movies. It's too hard to choose.

I've done a lot of stuff I thought was pretty cool. Macchu Picchu was pretty amazing along with Mt. Fuji. I guess I like mountains? If curious, just ask!

Do you know what syncretism is?? It's when a religious icon or image is assimilated from one religion to another, it's all over religion because it's tough to start from scratch. For instance, Christ as the good shepherd is the same imagery that was used for both Apollo and Hermes. Interesting huh?
