About Me

I'm still studying, away from hometown.
Malaysia have three main races, Malay, Chinese, and Indian. I am a Chinese. :)
I had just completed my Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Geoscience (majored in Exploration Geophysics).
I am going to start my Integrated Petroleum Geoscience Master Degree in University of Aberdeen in this coming September 2018.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find host when I'm going to travelling

I learnt swimming when I was 10 years old.
After that, I was exposed to basketball and netball. I played for my school team.
When I was 16, I represented my school to join the co-curricular carnival of Sarawak state, which includes jungle trekking, mountain cycling, kayaking, flying fox, and so on.
In my bachelor-degree university (University Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia), I played frisbee for my university team.
During my degree study as Petroleum Geoscience, jungle trekking is a must for academic field-trip and I do enjoyed.
I would like to experience more outdoor sports if I encounter any chance.

As I grew up in Christianity family, I am used to sing in a choir and listened to classical music. I learnt piano till Grade 3 only.
During my leisure time, if I prefer indoor, I would read. I am fond of coffee and doggie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I overheard two travelers confused with the platforms at a MRL station in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With a smile, I approached and indicated them to the right platform.

2. I saw a lady struggling with the train ticket machine in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I approached her and helped her with it. We walked to the platform and I taught her how to seek the route board and station names.

3. I never been in Europe or went intercontinental. When I received the offer letter from UoA, Aberdeen, I accepted it. Without any seniors or friends there, I depart to there alone. Grateful that my parents are supportive.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is a never ending learning process.

Be kind to people, as we all have our own adversity. Sometimes a little act of kindness will lighten up their life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cleanliness and tidiness
Politeness and respect
Simple cooking of Malaysia dishes (if possible)

Countries I’ve Visited

Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam
