Yo what's up peeps?! I'm a Brazilian musician living in Hungary looking for the greatest time. I was born in a beautiful island called Upon-Açú (it means "big island" in tupi-guarani) in northeast of Brazil, right in the very end of the Amazon forest. Never thought in going abroad until a day I had a crazy opportunity to go in a exchange student program in US. I mean crazy because I had no experience living by myself and I didn't know English at all at the time. But something about my personality that never changes is that when it pops up a nice opportunity I normally go for it. After that, everything changed and I decided to become a classical musician and continued living by myself doing my bachelor in music in the Midwest region in Brazil. There, I met important people in my life that made me reconnect with nature and my ancestrality with a decolonial lens. Then again, it popped out a crazy opportunity, I met a hungarian professor that invited me to come study my masters degree here in Hungary. Well, now I'm here looking to have an amazing time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to make the best of this opportunity of being in a different continent. I wanna know the different and enjoy life and I believe that Couchsurfing it's a great bridge to that.

Interests

I'm a very enthusiastic person and I love to try different and new things. I love art and nature, specially waterfalls and beaches. My favorite places are places where I can see the perfect line of the horizon, right in the spot that earth makes a curve. I love having fun and good times, I'm into games, drinking, dancing, hiking and more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm crazy with Brazilian music specially with the MPB (Brazilian popular music). I'm a classical musician, so I love what I do and play. About books, I like novels from great writers around the world (but I have to admit that it's been a while that I don't read one). And movies... don't get me started. Love a bunch!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited paradise and I can go a thousand times to there and I will still be amazed with the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, such a perfect place. Another great thing I did was cross the Atlantic Ocean to live crazy adventures on another continent.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and give some tips in music and specially in the guitar or ukulele. I'm also a vegetarian, so I know some tricks in the kitchen. And of course, I can teach about Brazilian history and the language too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my humble company and knowledge. Every now and then I take my guitar with me, I can offer my art too.
