Overview
About Me
I have travelled to over a dozen different countries internationally for business (working in the strawberry industry) and for pleasure. The most valuable thing that I gained through my international career was a richer understanding of the diversity of human societies--cultures, religions, architecture, politics, and ways of life. Through my travels, I discovered the beauty and ecology of traditionally planned cities in Europe. Currently, I am working towards a master's in urban planning. My passions include sustainable urban design, sustainable agriculture, and community development.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet and host interesting people from around the world. I hope to learn about other cultures, cuisines, languages, and societies through a cultural exchange. I also like to share outdoor experiences with others. I hope to create lasting friendships and memories through Couchsurfing. As a person an international background, I consider myself a global citizen. I hope to continue building community with people from around the world, as part of a larger movement to overcome cultural and political barriers and foster global unity and peace.
