Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know the places other people love. So I'm really looking forward to hosts who want to show other people their favourite places and their favourite things to do around town.

(I'm pretty independent though, So even if I love to be with company - if you don't have time for that, it's just grand, I will just go out alone)

I'm sorry, but at the time I myself can't host anyone, because one of my roommates doesn't feel comfortable hosting, and I guess the rest of us have to accept that. But this situation is likely to change soon, so... Let's see!

Interests

I love to go out and have fun with the people around me. That's why I get very enthusiastic about bar games and activities, such as pool, table soccer and pub quiz. But just as much I enjoy sitting around with a nice drink and having long talks.

Generally I'm an indoorsy person, who likes to watch movies or cartoon shows or to listen to interesting radio features while doodling in my sketchbook. but occasionally I get my act together and leave the house, I love to go to concerts (stoner rock/ heavy blues mostly) and music festivals.

I also work a a barkeeper in my favourite bar. This place is one of my favourite places to be because I get to hear all kinds of interesting stories from friends strangers an neighbors and have a great time.

Music: Tom Waits, Blues Pills, The Beards, My Sleeping Karma, Eqypt, Red Fang, Led Zeppelin

Movies: whew, I really loved the new Mad Max, and otherwise I love Tarantino movies, David Fincher, Edgar Wright's glorious movies, old spaghetti western, the wonderful deep and absurd mess that is the movie 'Rubber', the cartoon shows Regular Show and Adventure Time

Books: I really don't read as much as I used to, but I still love the 'Parker'-series, Lee Childs 'Reacher'- novels , the books of Wolf Haas... Crime novels mostly, but I also loved The 'Game of Thrones' book series, love the tv series as well!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can draw little cartoons on whiteboards in your house.

I like to cook, and if you like me to cook as well, I might make pancakes in the morning, or pancakes in the evening, or pancakes anytime, really, who cares?
