About Me

I was born in Rio and I have always lived here. I've graduated in Publishing and I have also worked as an English and Spanish teacher. When I finished college, I decided to start studying again and I currently study Electrical Engineering and work at a Junior Enterprise. I live here with my girlfriend and we share the interest of meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always hosted my friends when they come to Rio and I love the experience of being with different people and different cultures. Since I have an extra bedroom in my apartment, I though it would be a great idea to host people and get the chance to improve my language skills and make new friends.

Interests

I love trips, photography, tennis, yoga, books, movies and running. I run practically every weekend, so it would be great to host a runner who would join me. I love classic and regional music (it's a pleasure to listen to new songs), and I like TV series too.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite composers are: Mozart, Beethoven and Bach (ok, predictable). I love Forrest Gump, Intouchable, Moulin Rouge, Gran Torino, and Monsters Inc.

About books: Don Quijote de La Mancha, Calvin & Hobbes, Peanuts, Jules et Jim, Le Petit Nicolas, The Paul Street Boys, Extremely loud and Incredibly close, O Profeta Tricolor, and Intimations of postmodernity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited 5 European countries with three friends for about forty days.

Teach, Learn, Share

It is useless following neighbours
Wanting to be after or to be before
Each follows his own way,
Where Sancho sees windmills
Don Quixote sees giants.

If he sees windmills, there are windmills.
If he sees giants, there are giants.
