I have traveled a lot in the last years. I made a three-year round the world trip interrupted in Cuba with the health crisis. This year I am on the road again, willing to visit what I dont know of India, Nepal, and then I will do a working holiday visa in Australia
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I used to travel this way for a long time and I think it's one of the best way to travel and meet local people. Which is much more interesting than staying in classical accomodations.

I hitchiked close to 100 000 kilometers over the last 10 years. In about 30 different countries. It's still going on.
I've been from my home in France to Moscow hitchiking. Then I took the transsiberian train until Beijing through Mongolia. I continued until Bangkok with no plane.
Some years after, I went back to Bangkok, by plane this time. Then I hitchiked south-east Asia : Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Bali...I've been until Komodo by hitchiking, only taking ferries between islands. So in two times, I travelled from western Europe to Komodo with no planes at all. Then, I was obliged to take one for Australia...
