Hi, my name is Renaud and I am a french Canadian originally from Montreal, Canada. I am a masters student completing my first year at the German Sport University of Cologne. I love to travel and discover new culture. I especially like to try new food and meet people who share my passions for sports and traveling.

I believe Couchsurfing can provide a good opportunity to meet locals, share and discover cultures and of course reduce traveling costs.

Interests

Sports and technologies are my favorite subjects and that's what I am doing my masters in. I also enjoy traveling and wish I had more time and money to see everything the world has to offer. I also love meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I have a big appetite and I like trying new food ("you never try, you never know").

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much anything. Depending on my mood, I listen to hip hop, RnB, pop, piano classical.

I love watching movies... no wonder I worked for 7 years at a movie theater.

I like reading books. Nowadays, I am especially reading books about sports like sport psychology books, biographies of notable sports figures, sports brands, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed 2 study abroad semesters in Singapore as part of my bachelor's degree. I also left my home for Germany in order to pursue my dream job!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Ma langue maternelle est le Français and I am fluent in English so I could provide good conversation with whomever wants to practice either languages. I have also a lot of travel anecdotes and a lot to share about the countries I lived in especially Montreal and Singapore. I can talk for hours to anyone who is interested in sports technology as well.
