ABOUT ME

Always trying to be open-minded and friendly. My outlook tends to be positive and I enjoy being polite. Like to be in the company of engaging people, but can be very comfortable being on my own too. I can be lazy but I almost never feel bored. Love to laugh and stay up late. Besides, I only very rarely let work stand in the way of a good conversation - having a cup of coffee with a friend or colleague always seems to be the better option.

First of all I love music: All kinds of Jazz, Piano Music from Couperin on, 60s and 70s Soul, Opera, Brazilian Music, Symphonies, Avantgarde, String Quartets, French Chansons, Novelty tunes, Brazilian Music, Operetta and of course plain old Pop. Love to visit concerts as well as digging up obscure LPs on a flea market. Spend a lot of time reading, mostly classic novels from Dickens to Vonnegut. Visit the theatre and opera houses as much as I can. Love to eat with a special penchant for all things sweet, enjoy good coffee a lot. Although I'm not a big long-distance traveler I cherish getting away from Cologne on a regular basis to visit other european cities for some days and explore them by foot, bike or public transport, as I have an irrational affinity for all kinds of Metros and tramways.
