I like to explore the area around where i live by bicycle or on a walk, learn about the culture, the language and people in general.

I am mostly a calm guy, who likes to have good conversations and exchange experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing during my trip in Japan and met some really nice people there. Now I am back in Germany, but I still want to meet interesting people from all over the world.

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to experience life in other countries. One can learn so much about the culture and the people, if you just stay with them for some time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the movies of Quentin Tarantino. He is a great artist. Furthermore all of the Studio Ghibli Movies take me away everytime. Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio Movies are quiet nice.

I listen to almost all kind of music. Depends on the mood i am in. Raggae is always a good choice!

Nonfiction books are great. I like to read about japanese history and language, psychology, and a little bit philosophy

The fictional book which made an impression on me is "1984" by George Orwell. Scary atmosphere in there. I also had fun with Steven Kings "Under The Dome", "The Dark Tower", "The Langoliers" and "Secret Window, Secret Garden". I would like to read "Metro 2033" by Dmitry Glukhovsky.
