I'm enthusiastic and yearn to do as much with my life as possible. I love to travel, meet new people, and learn from them. I have an undergrad degree in Environmental Science & Policy and Spanish. Wherever I may be in the course of my life, I will pursue things for which I have a passion. That is my guiding light.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Seattle for the first time and loved it. It was a great experience, and I want to continue using this site as a resource for meeting awesome people during my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Uh Huh Her, Coldplay, Kristine W, The White Stripes, Ace of Base and Aqua (of course!), Frou Frou/Imogen Heap, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Santogold, a bunch of random alt. rock/techno/trance/hip-hop/pop. I don't mind listening to classical music or opera, but I do mind country music.

Books: 1984, anything by Reinaldo Arenas and Kurt Vonnegut

Movies: Eternal Sunshine, Requiem for a Dream, Sweeney Todd, The Bubble, Pan's Labyrinth, the works of Pedro Almodovar

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, and it was simply breathtaking.

I am available for conversations in Russian or Spanish - or English, if you prefer. I've also picked up some recipes; I have one for particularly delicious cornbread that I'd love to share.
