Overview
About Me
I love meeting new people, seeing new places, tasting new foods, experiencing different cultures...
My Dad gave me the adventure bug early in life, traveling to 46 of the 50 United States. My traveling days were quenched a bit in a 19 year marriage with a man that was content having adventure through video games. My two sons have flown my coop, leaving the nest, giving me more time to fly in to new territory myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I desire to see and do more without worrying about the constraints of limited income. I can be very social, but can be quiet too, I call myself an introverted extrovert. ;) I like to learn from others, and make new friends... I am on a tight budget yet will not limit myself by being stuck in one place... freebird!

Music, Movies, and Books
an eclectic mix of goodness:
music: anything that moves me to dance, sing, laugh, cry... my favorite genres would include soft/hard rock, alternative, punk, trance, pop...some of my favorite artists include: Ray Lamontagne, U2 (best in concert), Depeche Mode, Front 242, Ministry, Mercy Me, Led Zeppelin, Smashing Pumpkins, Naked & Famous, Imagine Dragons.... really too many to list but one of my favorite singles would be my mantra: DJ Snake's, "Turn Down for What"...
books: The Living Word, Language of Letting Go, The Road Less Traveled, Mere Christianity, Screw-tape Letters... C.S. Lewis rocks... I look forward to meeting him on the other side.
movies: Shadowlands and almost all movies with Anthony Hopkins, "...with a side of fava beans"? He's so good! The Judge, Inside Out, The Green Mile, The Notebook, The Sound of Music, Shawshank Redemption, Moulin Rouge, Trains, Planes and Automobiles, Uncle Buck... there's too many to list and most movies are crap but I do enjoy a good one when it comes out or finding an old gem. I miss John Candy and Chris Farley. RIP
