ABOUT ME

Most important thing about me is that I always have a contagious yet comforting smile on my face so if you don´t like to be happy you will not like to be around me. I am a Haitian American woman who was born in Brooklyn, NY then moved to Florida, then Maryland and eventually to Brazil. So I have that NY sassiness and bluntness, yet the southern niceness. I traveled through India and S. America. First stop in S. America was Argentina for the meat, wine and Argentine accent. My friends all say that I am crazy and fun. They love to hear my stories when we are all drinking or just hanging out. I am a Reiki Master and Tantric Therapist, so am spiritual, yet I am very grounded and practical. I love to meditate just as much as I love to dance. I believe in balance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been on couch surfing since 2010 by recommendations from cousins and have loved the experience of hosting, being hosted and CS events that I have participated in thus far. When I am unable to host I am definitely open to hanging out with people to show them around or for a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have participated in many CS events, hosted and stayed with couchsurfers and truly enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I enjoy cooking dishes, helping with English or practicing English, Spanish or Portuguese with couchsurfers.

Centres d'intérêt

I am interested in yoga, reiki, dancing(I love dancing-especially belly dance, salsa and reggae), meeting new people, meditating, drumming, and playing cards(I get real competitive). I have studied Tantra and varies forms of energy work and love to explore this more.

Considering I am not that athletic running and completing a full marathon.

I´ve learned not to take life so seriously; when times get tough just laugh. Try it, you will feel better. My favorite mantra is "fuck it". I try to stay in the present moment and not worry about tomorrow. The most important thing I have learned is to be grateful and always show gratitude!
