CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to allow people into my Canadian life so they get the real experience of who we are! I don't think travelling is about hanging out with a bunch of tourists. I think it's about getting into the real culture of the area!

ABOUT ME

Well I am a very outgoing person who just loves to meet new people! I love the outdoors, mainly from the back of a horse! I have 2 young children July 2020 and Nov2022. I live on a farm just outside Sylvan Lake in a house on the same property as my parents who also enjoy hosting.

We have lots of horses, dogs, chickens, a few calves, and cats.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to the fullest! I always say life's to short to work weekends and worry about money all the time. I figure if I can be happy with very little I would rather do that then be unhappy with allot!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I am pretty grounded here in Canada so I don't travel a whole lot. But I do love showing my country and it's beauty off to new people! Hopefully if the timing is right I could take them around my area a bit and show them around. I would love to take people out on some horses whether it's their first time or not!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I went to Australia I stayed at an Australians house. Just blended in with the family and got to live their lives for a couple weeks! I thought that experience beats all the rest! I feel that if you are going to another country, hang out with the countries people! Get to know their culture and lifestyles a little bit! Which is what I would like to show people about Canada!

Since I joined I have had so many wonderful people come from all over the world and have enjoyed every experience!

Intereses

I do allot of camping in the summer time. I either take my quad or horses out with me! I love hanging out with friends.
While at home I spend most of my time riding my horses! I also spend a lot of time with my 2 sons. July 2020 and Nov 2022

Música, películas y libros

I love music, will listen to mostly anything as long as it has words! Love movies also. I like my war history kinda movies like Gladiator and Braveheart... But I will watch anything and usually enjoy it. I am not too picky!

I honestly like to just do little things here and there. I love helping people out! Before I even new about this site I have let many travelers stay on my couches. I have gotten many people work or places to stay however I can. I believe to feel fulfilled in life is to help strangers in need. Anywhere from picking a hitch hiker up to letting a stranger stay on your couch!

Well... I could teach people anything from building a house to riding a horse! I love explaining Canada as I see it to others too. So ask away!! I am not shy!
Learn... I love to learn and ask questions about peoples lifestyles and home life. I love learning and understanding more about different countries and cultures! If you will let me I will ask question after question!
