ABOUT ME

I live in Amarillo, TX. I've lived in and around this city most of my life. The best ways to have fun here are hanging out with friends, making new ones, and dining out. Occasionally I manage to do all three of those at the same time.

Everyone comes from a different place, but the world is better with you in it, and you are better out in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because I currently lack the time and finances needed to travel, I'm a full-time host. If I can't go out and experience other cultures around the globe, I can at least give travelers a place to sleep when they pass through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of yet, I haven't surfed any couches myself, but I've had the pleasure of meeting several surfers in the past, and I'm anxious to give hosting a try.

Interests

I really enjoy travelling and wish I could do more of it, but it's just not possible at the moment. Instead, I stay here and spend time with friends who also can't seem to get away. Together, we watch good movies, listen to good music, eat good food, drink good drinks, and try our best to make every day a memorable one.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge movie buff who wastes too much time in front of the TV when I should be outside. I like a little bit of everything when it comes to music. Everyone has their own tastes and opinions, and mine are constantly evolving, but some old favorites are Cold War Kids, Jeff Buckley, Justin Vernon, and Andrew Bird. I don't read many books, but when I do they're usually ridiculous. The last book I read was 'This Book is Full of Spiders', a sequel to 'John Dies At The End' by David Wong. It was ridiculous.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Germany during the 2006 World Cup. That was pretty amazing, and an unforgettable welcome to Europe.
