About Me

How should I start, since I was a kid I've always been interested in what is beyond of what we see in particular in the international community outside. I used to lived in a city of 2 million people back in Peru, where I experienced how is to live in a big city the advantages and disadvantages I love my Latino community the colors, music, dances, futbol and many many things that involve my culture. I went to an international high school where a lot of my friends came from different countries such as Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Canada, etc. Although, I am still young sometimes I have the felling I will not be able to see everything that I want ,experience many things so as far as I can go I want to know and understand more about me and you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I find interesting and exiting to know from a local how is their city and not what the media portrays about that specific place. I believe that globalization is what can help many of the issues we have this days like discrimination, xenophobia, male chauvisnism, etc. And the perfect place is this app where you can host other foreigners that can know about you and your country or go to them and exchange your culture, ideas, believes, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I turned 16 after finishing high school in Peru I decided to moved to the United States and start my college here without friends and not even speaking fluent English back then hahaha. Well also when I travel I try to eat traditional food even if it's strange for foreigners I tried scorpion, worms, alpaca, guinea pig, alligator, turtles, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hey if you are interested in learning Spanish or Portuguese I can teach you how since I taught some students at my college or if just you want to practice it I am always willing to!!
I would like to know how is where are you from because there are to many things outside of where we are that we are not aware of. I would also love to cook some Peruvian food for you or you can show me the traditional food of your country I always want to try new things.
