I moved to Philadelphia, PA about 6 months ago in order to join the Philadelphia Roller Girls.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything will work out in the end. It's not really a unique philosophy, but in my limited experience it's always held true! I'm an optimist to a fault.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2011, I was able to surf, travel with, and meet tons of fellow couchsurfers, but have been a little MIA as of late. Now I'm living in Philadelphia and eager to rejoin the Couchsurfing community! While I can't host people right now because my house is under repair, I can't wait to hang out with couchsurfers and explore the beautiful city of Philadelphia together!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had only incredible experiences with Couchsurfing. Everyone has been so cool and nice. I spent 3 months studying abroad in England, then 3 months backpacking across Western Europe. It was awesome and I can't wait to start planning my next trip!

Interests

All things outdoors! Hiking, camping, adventure in general! While I enjoy partying and drinking, I prefer activities such as lazer tag, roller skating, geocaching, renaissance fairs. Anything crazy fun. I especially like meeting new people!

General interests: Roller Derby, dogs, candy, cupcakes, the color green, root beer floats, Disney, country line dancing, reading, bingo, cross stitching, puzzles, awesome pictures!

Books: Gone with the Wind, Lamb, Hunger Games, Harry Potter (of course), and Pride & Prejudice

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove across the United States with my family for 7 weeks in an RV. It was amazing to see how different one country can be. It completely brought our family closer together and showed me how beautiful America is!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't think of any special skills or knowledge, but I'll work on it. I'm an excellent learner though!
