I have head so many great experiences being a guest or host in all kinds of different settings. I've been an exchanges student in the US, a volunteer in Peru, traveling in Australia, but also in my home country and people welcomed me into their homes. I just think its amazing how open and loving even stranges can be. Unfortunatly my current living situation doesn't allow me to host much - only when my flatmates are gone. But if they are gone I usually had visitors from the US, Italy, and all parts of Germany staying with me.
