ABOUT ME

I am music. I am climbing ancient trees, wading barefoot up rivers, climbing over fences....
For a while I lived in Washington State, USA, and have left to explore the world. Over last winter I was living in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, and now I just finished a music tour of Europe with a vocal ensemble! We were in Corsica, Near Napoli, and then in England for a month, and then Northern Germany and the Nederlands. We did traditional harmony singing from a variety of places, and had a blast!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is here, now.. Why wait? So many of us live in the past, thinking that its safer or more comfortable. I feel liberated when I am honestly living in my power, not ruled by fears or assumptions. Anything is possible. There are many paths to healthy living here in the ruins of this decadent civilization.

Interests

I LOVE Music of many types.. Traditional songs, especially polyphonic harmonies, and old intruments... Electronic, Soundcollagedronetrance, Balkanbrassbreakcore, alien transmissions and Insurgent mash-ups. Also climbing things and playing with cats. I love languages, crossing communication barriers by being ourselves and seeing people for who they are. and Laughing! Exploring wild and natural places. Small underground electronica parties. Urban Scavenging. Direct action and manifestations...

MUSIC: Folk Harmonies, Corsican, Georgian, English, Balkan, etc... Fairuz has the most beautiful voice! Filastine, Rupture, Cheb i sabbah, Bluetech, Phutureprimitive, Warsaw Village Band, Goran Bregovic, Huun-Huur-Tu, COIL, Beirut, Shpongle, Nommo Ogo, Sigur Rós, Burial, Aphex Twin, Garmarna, Badawi, ¡TchKung!, the Infernal Noise Brigade, Boards of Canada. Baglama saz music always entrances me. I love to dance when appropriate (or not) and I love mutant waveforms that melt into my pores and help me see life. I can't imagine traveling without music, and I love to trade with people I meet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked across Canada to get dropped off at my sister's high school concert a whole ten minutes late.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning from people! I like to learn from anyone, or anything! I can teach a little Astronomy, or how to make sauerkraut. I love Teaching and sharing songs! Discussing books, politics, life.
I really want to improve my French! (un petit peu) Learn Georgian, and so much more!
