HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm a bit silly busy with my MA course here, but I still put a maybe on the couch in case the stars align and leave me a free moment or two to host... but it's been really difficult lately...hopefully it'll change soon! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Drove to California from Vermont with one of my best friends, crazy dude G man, and his dog, Lexi, who were moving out there to continue their careers in kayak guiding. Surfed a friends couch for a few days in Minnesota, was brilliant times meeting all sorts of new folk. Then when in Cali, found that housing was outrageously expensive, so luckily had a old buddy out there who let me ride the cali couch surf wave for the whole summer. loved it.

Interests

Music. I've played guitar and bass for about 15 years. Love to learn new styles. Rock climbing. hill walking. Literature. coffee. cafes. languages. all sorts really! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed from England to Portugal with 10 other amateur volunteer sailors in a 67' racing yacht with professional skipper and first mate. Raised money for charity in order to participate and built houses for Habitat for Humanity for a week once we arrived. Hands down, one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
