Hi there ^__^

I'm a 25-year-old guy looking to travel and experience as much as possible over the next few months, before I start a Doctor of Medicine at Melbourne University in 2016. Eek!

The last time I went in Japan, I did a bunch of Wwoofing & Couchsurfing, spent three months walking around the countryside from Aomori to Osaka, and absolutely loved it. This time I'm really excited to be travelling for two months with my partner of 6 years, Skye. You can check out her profile here (she's a star!):

We're visiting a few old friends of ours dotted over Honshu, and hoping to explore a bit wider out into the countryside south (partly for the warmth :P , partly cause we've both always wanted to go to Naoshima and Okinawa).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had such great experiences through this site, and hope to have more in the future. I'm very eager to give back to the community when the time is right for us.

Interests

I love music, of all kinds - from straight-up pop to eclectic experimental, and almost everything in between. If it's made with a spirit I can relate to, I'll love it. For the past few years I've been working on this love by making music videos for bands in Melbourne and Sydney. It's been a blast, but I'm looking forward to different challenges in the future, and a real change-up next year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In late '10 I spent three months walking and hitchhiking from the top of Japan to the south, and couch surfed a bit along the way. It was an experience I would recommend to anyone.
