I'm just your regular nerdy guy who's not so much an outdoorsman, but I always miss the beach -- I blame my landlocked city. When going drinking, I'd avoid bars with loud music. And to quote Carolyn Porco loosely, there are no high-maintenance items in my house of any kind (yet) -- pets, plants, or wifes.

You can only learn so much about a place or a country by following tours. I find that you'll be able to discover so much more by following a native guide, a person that also happens to be generous enough to share his or her home/experience with you during your visit.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music
I listen to music of all genres, from classical to bossa nova to heavy metal, though I'm not that into pop. I lean more towards Led Zeppelin- and Pink Floyd-like music.

Movies
I also watch movies of all genres (except romcoms), but I prefer those that are more cerebral and with loads of 'feels'. My go-to favorite movie, when someone asks, will always be The Shawshank Redemption.

Books
I love reading, but more towards non-fiction stuff. Have been trying to delve into fiction these days, and what better way to torture myself than to start with the 1913 translation of Dostoyevsky's The Idiot?
