Overview
About Me
Current mission:
Have an awesome time while I'm on Earth.
About me:
I like to think I'm an easy-going, open minded 33 year old human man.
I enjoy wandering around countries, crashing on peoples couches, and learning about great places to see, eat, pondering and meeting interesting people.
I'm a music junkie. Love introducing people to new stuff and having new stuff introduced to me. I also enjoy movies, literature, arts, philosophy and other cultures.
Philosophy
Emancipation from pettiness and fear; fostering perspective; countering irrationality; and making an attempt at becoming truly self-aware before I die.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
How I participate in couchsurfing:
I haven't had the ability to host in the past few years but prior to that I hosted people for about 6 months when I was in Dunedin, New Zealand. About 6-7 years ago I couch surferc across New York, Chicago, Denver, San Fran, D.C., and Europe - London, Dublin, Amsterdam Berlin, Munich. I met some great couch surfers and found it invaluable for meeting up with groups of people, finding stuff to do, etc. It was inspiring. Over the past couple years I've traveled extensively around my own country and also been back to Europe for another visit, back to the US a couple times, and so on :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
'The Gibbon Experience' in Northwest Laos was pretty amazing. It involved 'zipping' along lines (think of the grandest network of flying foxes you've ever seen) hundreds of metres above the forest, sleeping in tree-huts, hearing Gibbon monkeys sing, being chased by a small bear, amongst other occurrences!
