About Me

ABOUT ME

My personal opinion of myself seems to differ from week to week, or even day to day. I think I'm one of those persons that seem to have a lot of ambitions, and pretensions, but never seem to get very much done. However I think that I am quite dedicated once I've put my mind to something. In that sense I'm not the most socially active person either, at least not at all times. I often enjoy being just by myself, as well as travelling alone. However, when it really comes down to it I do enjoy the company of other people, exchanging stories, and maybe relaxing over a beer or two.

PHILOSOPHY

Being a philosophy student (for whatever reason I have ended up doing that) I feel that it's very much enough for me to get a grip on other peoples philosophic ideas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Non at all. But I'm hoping that I'll get a bit of that sometime soon.

Interests

Experiencing, exploring, evolving. Mostly in my sleep as getting out of bed is such a bore. I am pretty culturally active, both within such things as organising events, but I also like to create and perform. Politics is another thing that I dig - I have been an active leftist for several years.

Music, Movies, and Books

If we would meet up I could tell you, it could take a hell of a long time though.

My taste within music is pretty broad, I enjoy a lot of the so called indie scene, but 60's and 70's stuff is also something of a speciality. I'm more and more starting to get in to jazz music, and also exploring more obscure countries music.

I love many of the more classic authors, among foreign writers I could cite favourites like George Orwell, and within Sweden authors like Hjalmar Söderberg, Karin Boye, and Tage Danielsson. I like a lot of modern stuff as well, of course, but I'd have to think about that.

Within film and theatre it's everything from Miyazaki to Mike Leigh.

Movies (or rather directors): Terry Gilliam, Hayao Miyazaki, Jean-Luc Godard

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will actually have to leave this for later - I wouldn't exactly say that it's the easiest question to answer, you know. After a few drinks most things seems pretty awesome though.
