Earth and its inhabitants are beautiful beyond words. And they / we are in peril from human-induced damage, first and foremost climate change. My two adult children (and maybe sometime grandchildren), yours and everyone's, and every creature on Earth is entitled to live a full life and have descendants that can too. Because I'm passionate about this I've been very active with social justice and environmental causes, and in Green politics. My latest projects are the development of a rural eco-community and a business that focuses on well-being and demonstrates practical sustainability and runs courses on related subjects.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been a WWOOF and couch-surfer host in past years and a non-affiliated host most of my life. I love meeting good and interesting people from all parts of the world. And I'm going to do some slow traveling myself (with my partner Patricia).
