Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm only new to couch surfing, but I've met some great people while I've been travelling in Brazil who recommended I get on this website. Hoping to be able to see new cities and do the same for others once I'm back in Melbourne.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES
Have studied some media and film classes as an elective so very open to all genres and periods of film, I think it's an amazing art form so I can see the beauty in anything genre. However I cannot stand watching bad hollywood blockbuster comedy movies. In particular I love all Studio Ghibli movies, I think they are absolutely magical and the film Boyhood is a recent favourite.

BOOKS
I am a massive Jane Austen fan, my collect of books and TV/film adapted DVD's is borderline embarrassing. I love crime/mystery genres, ridiculously enormous fantasy series', dystopian novels, classics and really anything I can get my hands on- once I start a book I am a lost cause.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been lucky enough to do lots of travelling in the last year and have seen some amazing things. However nothing has ever left me more in awe than the moments I've spent in my own country Australia, hours away from the closest big city, when I have been able to lie on the grass and look up at the sky and properly see the stars. Space blows my mind.
*EDIT* I recently went skydiving which was pretty mind blowing!
