About Me
Hi, I'm Reza – 31 years old and always curious about the world around me. I love exploring new places and connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. One of my favorite things to do is capture everyday moments through casual smartphone photography, always trying to see things from my own unique perspective.
I also really enjoy helping others discover hidden gems and lesser-known spots that aren't in the guidebooks – there's something special about sharing those off-the-beaten-path experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to truly experience a place is through the people who live there. I enjoy meeting locals, hearing their stories, and getting a real feel for the culture—beyond just the tourist spots.
Couchsurfing gives me the chance to connect with open-minded people, exchange ideas, and maybe even share some hidden places I’ve discovered myself. It’s not just about traveling—it's about meaningful connections and seeing the world through different eyes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I have a deep love for Persian pop music from the 70s—artists like Shadmehr Aghili, Ebrahim Hamedi (EBI), and Ehsan Khaje Amiri are some of my favorites. But when it comes to other languages and genres, I’m pretty open-minded. I enjoy anything that gives me a good vibe—whether it’s Natasha Atlas from the Arab world, Haris Alexiou from Greece, or legends like Bob Dylan, The Eagles, and even J.Lo.
Books:
I’m drawn to both real and surreal dramas. I enjoy thought-provoking books like The Book of Rolling Stone and A Fraction of the Whole by Steve Toltz. I’m also a fan of Orhan Pamuk’s romantic and philosophical writing, as well as the dreamy and mysterious worlds created by Haruki Murakami.
Movies & Series:
I love films and series with depth and strong storytelling. Some of my top picks include The Lives of Others, Chernobyl, and Hannibal. I’m usually into intense dramas, thrillers, and anything that leaves a lasting impression.
