There's something about meeting people and listening to their stories. Yes, it's also because of budget but I like to travel and make friends with the locals. The first time I went to Kuala Lumpur and decided to separate myself from the group, I talked to people on the street, shop owners and we shared stories and had fun. It really inspires me until now. I have solo traveled before but only to Kuala Lumpur and that is just because I have some fellow Indonesians who live and work there but never had a travel experience of going somewhere where I completely know nobody.
