ABOUT ME

Um... I like long walks on the beach and puppies. Strangely, I do not like long walks on the beach with puppies.

Seattle native, but moved to DC via L.A. two years ago, now in the process of moving back. Wow. Someone should have warned me about the abundence of cheap dark suits, flag pins, humidity and boring people. Sadly I did not appreciate 70 and sunny every day until it was gone. Not sure exactly when I will be back in LA - either early August or November-ish. I say ish as presently I am toying with the concept of riding my bike from DC to LA. Bike as in pedaling. That's kinda why i joined - figured this would be a good way to meet people/find a place to stay on the way west (east?) Absurd? Maybe. Generally speaking I am pretty absurd individual - I hope you are too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been an informal couche(sp?) for... ever? In the past 3 months Ive hosted family, friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends from 17 states, 6 countries... It has been fun. I've crashed at family, friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends in 5 different cities in the past 3 months... It has been fun. Away to expand the experience
