Overview
About Me
Travelling Europe for the first time, which feels quite significant! It's also been ten years since my last travels (South Asia).
I've done many things in my life and in some ways, that feels like travel. I'm currently building a tiny house after money got tight at a tech startup (I enjoy variety). I like connecting with all people and learning their story and how they see the world. I think this is where the gold in life lies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the philosophy. I first couch surfed in Brazil at the start of 2010. The hosts were amazing and they inspired me to get into the culture.
My most memorable travel experiences are staying with couch surf hosts (and WWWOOF hosts). I've hosted around fifteen surfers on and off this platform too. I love the exchange of cultural ideas, world views and ways of living. Surely a better world comes from this.
Interests
I'm generally curious about everything in the world (including the dark and worrying stuff). I believe a life well lived is one where self examination and challenging one's ideas are constant.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's not really amazing, but it was pretty unique:
When WWWOOFing in northern Queensland, I saved a joey (baby kangaroo) from being strangled by a python in the morning, and was chased by an angry Cassowary in the afternoon 😂

What I Can Share with Hosts
