CURRENT MISSION

I'm organizing meatless culinary workshop in order to promote a sustainable and healthy way of eating, using mostly fresh and organic products from my local area.
I recently decided to give up air travel for the same environmental reasons and will base my holidays on more lay back trips and some volunteering.

ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Régis but they call me Reggie since I've been to Australia.
I was born and raised in Switzerland, although my mum is Indonesian. It influenced me to be curious about culture and people from abroad.
My biggest journey was a trip of 11 months around Australia, New-Zealand and Indonesia. It gave me the bug and I still love to explore new parts of this dreamazing planet and meet interesting people.

I consider important to be curious and open-minded about everything, even things that do not interest me

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to CS when I travel as this is the best way to discover a country. I've been surfing in Ireland and Canada so far.
We are four young adults leaving in a sharehouse and the four of us are active members of CS, hosting and participating in monthly events, so even though I can't personally host you, I'll try to redirect you to someone available.

Somewhere in Northern Ireland, Andy host me in his pub. I mean, a real pub but he made his room into it. Just awesome !

Buying a van and traveling all around Australia during 8 months, wwoofing in New-Zealand, hiking 7 days in Tasmania, witnessing the northern lights in Norway and Canada.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Every monday since early 2013, I cook a vegetarian meal for my friends or people I'm with. Usually I do it in my kitchen with fresh and organic products from the market, but I made it in Norway, UK or Canada as well. So try to invite me/come to my place a Monday if you want to be part of my cooking project !
