While I fully understand the concept of couchsurfing, I am new to it. The thought of staying with someone unknown was scary/dangerous and I did not know what kind of people I would be meeting through it - till a friend of mine convinced me to try it.
I have been receiving a lot of travel tips though my interaction with people here.
I believe to explore a place is better and worthwhile through the eyes of the person who knows it better; and that it adds much more richness to the entire experience than just ticking places on the itinerary.

So, I am looking to travel more and experience more.
