ABOUT ME

After finishing college, I been worked with a human rights organization and a microfinance institution in India for a year and a half. I love traveling, especially when it exposes me to new cultures. If I had to choose between the ability to fly and the ability to hold my breath forever, I would choose to fly -- but it would be a close race. My taste-buds have never met a cuisine they didn't like...a fact my stomach is not always pleased with.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In a way, I grew up in a home of 'couchsurfers' because I was born near a university that has a lot of international students, and my family always hosted students who were interested in learning and sharing cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While living in Asia I surfed from couch to couch and loved the experience.

Música, películas y libros

When it comes to books I've always had a bias for nonfiction, BUT recently I have been repenting of this silly mistake. Not that nonfiction isn't great, but I'm beginning to see that some novels are more 'true' than nonfiction.
MUSIC: alternative, rock, folk, etc. E.g. Sufjan, Shins, OAR, Flaming Lips, Weepies etc.
