21 year old public servant (I work for the government in Australia), writer and uni student embarking on what I hope will be a pretty epic decade. Heading to New York, London and Europe over 6 weeks! Hoping to save the pennies and make some new friends along the way.

This is my first time travelling overseas by myself but I’m really looking forward to new adventures and learning around new people and cultures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for unique (less full on social) travel experiences - I’m not super into partying so trying to avoid the busy hostel experiences. I’m looking for advice and guidance about the places I visit from the people who know them best (locals!)

I will most likely be out and about most days wandering around or going on pre-booked tours but I would love to be shown around or eat together and share stories if you have time! Or even share a quiet night in with a movie?

Anything old for music (love rock and roll and 80s classics) I also love the standard white girl music like Taylor Swift - you can’t hate on perfection

dirty dancing and the blues brothers for films and the Harry Potter series for books! Although I’ll pretty much read anything lol I’m starting to build up a pretty impressive collection of books at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked up Machu Picchu when I was a kid which resulted in an embarrassing school story for 8 year old me where I talked about it like it was a totally normal thing and no one knew what I was talking about!
