Hi there!

I'm from the UK, but have been working and travelling in Australia and New Zealand for the past 4 and a half years. I'm currently in Thailand where I've spent a month exploring the North, and will head to Myanmar soon to explore for a couple of weeks before heading back to the UK for a while. I enjoy moving around for the opportunities it gives me to meet new people and make new friends! I love yoga, hula hooping and all things circus, and I'm not a bad cook either :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whilst travelling, I've spent a lot of time doing helpx/woofing work for accomodation because I love meeting local people - the best way to get to know a country is to get to know the people! I don't have time to work on this round of travels, so couchsurfing seems like the best way to meet locals and find out how people live in Myanmar.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most types of music - everything from folk to techno, and I'm a big psy trance fan! Favourite books include Shantaram, His Dark Materials Trilogies, the Game of Thrones books series and classics like Austen and Fielding.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking up mountains in the snow in New Zealand, climbing a volcano in Bali, 4 wheel driving and bush camping through the Kimberlies in outback Australia, living up a mountain above the rainforest on an off grid property in far north Queensland, snorkeling with giant sea turtles on the great barrier reef.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been hoop dancing for about 3 years and travel with a selection of hoops, so I always have spare to teach people new tricks. Also been practicing yoga for about 4 years and am always keen to intruduce others to the moving meditation that is vinyasa!

I'm a keen cook and love cooking for others and learning about food from different parts of the world.
