About Me

Update August 2024: Might be able to host for one night or two, we are usually very busy and constantly have friends and family visiting so it is really hard to host but maybe sometimes things can work. We have a guest bedroom for 2 people

Update July 2023: Not hosting at the moment, just moved to Seattle

Update 2020: Now living in Boston

We live in a small one bedroom apartment in the charming South End neighborhood. We MIGHT be able to host for a night or two, the space available is in the common area. Right next to my desk, there is a sofa that turns to a small bed (it could be uncomfortable for a tall - big person). We cannot offer much privacy as it is the common area and most of the time we will be unavailable as per work but hopefully we can host sometime :)

I love CSing mission and I have been a member since 2011 when I did my first solo trips. I think exchanging ideas, getting to know people from different backgrounds and learning of each other is what makes CSing unique. If you are looking for a host just to save a bit of $, this is not the place! CSing is about the connections, the people, the sharing of a meal or the beauty of connecting with random strangers.

If you don't have any references it will be harder for me to accept your request. I'm usually very busy with work on weekdays and usually have tons of plans for the weekends but we can hang out a bit when you're in town.

Update 2016: I moved back to Guatemala City now. No longer in Umeå!

Sorry if I am not able to reply to your message, I will try to reply all of them :) but my work schedule leaves me little time for CSing these days but if I can squeeze you in, I will be happy to show you around or even host you

CURRENT MISSION

Get to know Boston and meet locals and if things get better with COVID host some people

ABOUT ME

I'm a Master Student moving around Europe (Erasmus), I love traveling and the best of traveling is getting to now different cultures and ways of seeing the world! I love having interesting conversations, I love treasuring good moments and meeting new people.

I am very determined and love going outdoors (hiking, walking in the nature, rivers) but also love the city life and having fun in the city! I like winter but I love summers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love CS! It allows you to actually see the "real" cities and places. Not just a tour, not just a photo in front of a location, it allows you to get to know the real people that live in the place, hear their stories and see how normal life is. I love it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things for me are the moments I spend with my family or friends and they're captured in my mind like a photography that makes me smile just by the mere thought of it.

It's hard for me to pick 2 or 3, I have so many many great memories and enjoy my life so much!

1. Road trip with some friends through Guatemala and Central America

2. Holidays with the family

3. Lunch next to an abandoned castle in an almost deserted island with my friends in the Scottish Highlands with an amazing view from the cliffs

4. Many many other trips!!
