ABOUT ME

I am currently buzzing between York and Sheffield attempting to do whatever I need to to feel at home in the world, and doing nothing which doesn't contribute to our net good... besides all that pretentious stuff I am also trying to get used to dealing with hysterical infant school children, working at the food bank/reclaimed food projects, building Iron Age kilns, singing (after much persuasion and wine), exploring, making and playing and watching and listening to music, dancing, cooking frequently and obsessively, reading, dreaming, and purposefully moving through life. Any ideas don't hesitate to email me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting people whenever I can. From my own CS experience I think that people shouldn't be put off travelling just because they don't have much money or confidence - and friendships and bonds are formed out of being out of your comfort zone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing took me to the West Fjords of Iceland... where I drank a malted drink under a velvety sky punctuated by brilliant stars, and in which I did not once see the Northern Lights

I love to cook... and eat... and drink. I want to learn how to play English folk music... and take home traditional tunes from all over the world. I want to learn your great-grandma's secret recipes. I want to snuggle your cat. I want to sing you a tragic song about two drowned lovers. I want you to teach me how to knit, sew, make clothes, weld, plant vegetables, install solar panels and how to make the perfect cup of tea. I want you to cut my hair and keep some of it... I want to be able to hug you knowing that we'll always be friends even if we never meet again. But I am not actually that interesting.
