About Me

Pretty casual down-to-earth guy, you'll struggle to find me stressed about anything. Ever. Though this over-relaxed attitude can shoot me in the foot occasionally!
Avid traveller. Learner. Currently making my way around Europe before commencing a working visa in England.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn about places from the people that actually live there! Hostels can be fun, and you often meet some amazing people, but theres nothing quite like seeing somewhere through the eyes of a local who loves their city! Have surfed with other members, but figured it was time to make my own profile!

Interests

I'm a very passionate and avid learner, nothing pleases me more than figuring out how something works. I love a good social outing, a good workout, thoroughly enjoy the intricacies of martial arts, have recently found entertainment in fire staff/poi, and love a good intellectual discussion (though the meaningless drunken ones are often just as entertaining!). No artistic talents to speak of, but certainly doesn't mean i don't appreciate them!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise, I'll listen to pretty much anything. Flume, Chet faker, The Snowdroppers, The Beards, Queen, The Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Milky Chance, TZU, The Black Keys, the odd nostalgic movie soundtrack, the list goes on!
Movies aren't too far off, I'll watch mostly anything, though I love a good Comedy or Action. Documentaries are a way to keep me entertained for a solid week.
Books need to be either fast-paced fiction, or educational.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Zip-lining through the jungle in Thailand, skydiving at Byron Bay, bungee jumping in New Zealand, driving Route 66 with my brother, training with cage-fighters, visiting the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, a hell of a lot of amazing animal experiences…picking just one is a very difficult decision!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Normally alcohol and good times! Also, I'm pretty much incapable of passing by something broken without wondering how to repair it. So, if you need anything fixed while I'm surfing, then I'm your man!
