easy-going, fun-loving, Polaroid-taking, fearless (I conquer the things I am afraid of), spiritual, soul-searching, adventure seeking, balanced seriousness, non-judgemental, sometimes cynical, but overtly positive person. A friend dubbed it Rialisme, I just call it 'me'.

Movies: Amelie and Snatch are the only ones popping up at the moment.
Music: mostly everything, depends on my mood, but I guess alternative, folk and indie and jazz might be higher on my list. Happy music.
Books: Roald Dahl, books with stories from the Middle East. I am a bit of a classics romantic (bring on the Jane Austin)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Standing on a hill in the Namib desert, being able to see further than you can imagine, experiencing a sense of absolute freedom in the breeze.

No matter how cliche this might sound, David by Michelangelo in Florence. I nearly cried.

Meeting a random in a grocery line in Vienna and him ending up showing me the city.

Snowball fighting in the Jewish Memorial Sight in Berlin.

Spur of the moment trip to the Taiwanese East Coast to see the sun rise for the first time in the New Year, in a semi-broken van with insane(-ly cool) people (only just met). Paragliding the same day and losing my voice to jamming with the radio all the way back home.

Sleeping on a deserted beach, running and skipping through fields of flowers, joining old Taiwanese people in a natural hot spring next to an ice cold river, dancing on one of Taiwan's highest peaks (3000m) to The Beatles' All you need is love.

Skipping/Puddling barefoot, in the rain, for five hours, through the streets of Taipei.
