About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live with no regrets and always be myself :)

ABOUT ME

I'm kind, warm, curious, positive and spontaneous :) I'm comfortable in my own skin and love to give it a go to anything once at least and leave no `what if's in my life. That attitude opens up a lot for me and I do get surprises sometimes - good or bad, they make who I am today. I'm grateful for what life has gifted me including all the good and bad. I'm the happiest and most content that I have ever been.

I am a student for life and always a work-in-progress. I enjoy learning and big on psychology, mindset, self development, people, culture and good food coma 🤣 Also love travel (like everybody here!), dogs, reading books, listening to podcasts, DIYs, architecture, history, nature and adventures. I've been very lucky to make lots of life long friendships through couch surfing. Would love to continue to meet people around the world and create unforgettable memories together. Thank you for coming to my life!

PHILOSOPHY

Smile and the world will smile back to you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've host couchsurfing before I found couchsurfing. I love the CS community and the value it stands. I also would like to meet up with different people and show them around Sydney where I call home for the past 20 years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted travelers who I barely knew before I entered into the amazing Couch Surfing world. My friend introduced me to CS, I realised that was what I was doing all that time. I think whoever started CS is brilliant! A massive thanks to CS! You make the community a much better place.

I love Couch Surfing. I personally have hosted and surfed and I think CS is one of the best life experiences I've ever had! It’s so much more than just free accommodation. I'm very lucky to get to meet so many different people around the world with so many interesting travel and personal experience to share. I've made some life-time friends who are really dear to me through my CS journeys that I hold close to my heart!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent the last 2 years learning about psychology for self discovery purpose. It has changed me, the way I think, react & my mindset enormously. I'm now more selfaware & also more aware of other people's emotional needs. I've learnt to be vulnerable and accepting help which I wasn't good at. I also learnt to have open & honest communication about my needs in conflicts is ok and it won't push people who truly care & value me 😊

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I'm more of a learner. I think anyone can teach me something. But I've reached Chinese & English before. I can be handy sometimes because I love DIYs. I love to help anyone in need with what I know and can.

Learn: I love to learn about everything! Especially mindset, psychology related & self discovery.

Share: Travel stories, memories, laughters, connection, food Coma and friendships 😀
