Hi all,
My name is Ria, I'm 23 years old and currently living in Madrid, Spain. I love travelling, just like everyone else on here, but you know, life got serious and I don't have as much time as I'd like to explore anymore!
I grew up in England and my parents grew up in Kenya, my ancestry is from India, I have an Italian boyfriend, so we're the whole multi cultural package!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm up for meeting new people around the world and as much as love fancy hotels and kitsch B and Bs, seeing a city has so much more value when you have first-hand experience (i.e you get to live everywhere properly - which is the dream) or at second best you can meet somebody who knows the city and can tell you the kooky unknown to tourists treasures!
In terms of hosting someone, this is the first time I've had my own place to let somebody stay in the spare room, so I'd be more than willing to help somebody out!

Interests

I love getting lost in new cities and learning quirky things in new languages. I want to experience as many cultures in the world as possible, and I think architecture, food, the people and local traditions are the way to do that.
I love going out with friends, staying in and watching an old movie, and summer!
Oh and jigsaw puzzles and board games!!
